Dagger is a hand-poke artist born and raised in Huntington Beach and Los Angeles. Brought up in an artistic household Dagger spent his time skateboarding, surfing and making art.

Dagger attended CalArts, earning a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree. It was during college that his fascination with getting tattoos became an obsession with wanting to learn how to make them.

Dagger describes his work as “Folky Souvenir Tattoos” deriving inspiration from spiritual/occult motifs, nature, prison tattoos from the antiquity and old films. Taking a delicate and thoughtful approach to tattooing; Daggers tattoos embrace modern fine line while simultaneously having a bold simplicity in its expression.
